The Nine Mile Community Center is a local gathering place for many activities. As a community organization, the NMCC Board is charged with providing a space that enables the hosting of social activities and events throughout the year to benefit the community. These may be educational, fundraising, entertainment, or just a chance to bring the community together in a social setting. Community and Board Volunteers make all of these events happen! Some of these events are hosted by the Nine Mile Community Center Board of Directors, and many of these events are hosted by community members!​

The Nine Mile Community Center is FREE for Public Community and Public Benefits events and activities. ​​Do you have a public activity or event that you would like to hold at the NMCC? Public activities may be held on any day of the week that the center is not otherwise reserved for use. We strive to keep a number of weekends open for public rentals, however, they do fill up fast, so reserve now to get your desired date! Additionally, the NMCC will assist with event advertising via the website, social media, and our local published newsletter (if time permits).

The possibilities are almost unlimited, but here are a few ideas: Smoker/BBQ cookoff, Family Movie Night, Kids events, luncheons, crafting parties, musicians' circles, painting parties, yoga classes, garden club, book club ...the list could go on! All - keep in mind the Nine Mile Community Center is in a rural area! Minimum class sizes might have to be reduced to be able to hold a class, for example. All approval for public events is under the discretion of the Nine Mile Community Center Board of Directors and must conform to the rules of operating a 501(c)-3 non-profit organization.
